How many packs of STOPG-P will I need for my room?

An average (16m2 ) room will need two 40-metre rolls. If you have a rug and decide to ignore the area under the rug, one 40-metre roll may be enough.

Or, if you prefer to calculate the exact quantity:

1. Count the total number of gaps between floorboards
2. Measure the full length of a gap in metres
3. Multiply together to get the total length of all gaps
4. Divide total length by 40 to get number of rolls required

Example 1 - Room 3.5 metres long x 3.5 metres wide with 160mm wide floorboards.

1. 21gaps.
2. Length of gap 3.5 metres.
3. 21x 3.5 = 73.5
4. 73.5 divide by 40 = 2 rolls.

Example 2 - Room 4.5 metres long x 4 metres wide with 120mm wide floorboards.

1. 33gaps.
2. Length of gap 4.5 metres.
3. 33 times 4.5 = 148.5
4. 148.5 divide by 40 = 4 rolls.
